My keyboard stops working after a few seconds after logging in to windows but starts working after i randomly press on some function keys. The keyboard works fine in the boot setup. I have refreshed windows multiple times and also have updated to the latest bios drivers.
Iam running windows 10
version 1909

Right after you login to Windows, it's going to do its Startup stuff -- and the PC is going to be unresponsive until that is done. That can be only a few seconds to much longer, depending on how much stuff you are loading at Startup.
You can check this by pressing Ctl-Alt-Del keys, selecting Task Manager, going into the Startup Tab disabling everything and rebooting.
After that, the wait after login should be a lot less.

The issue I mentioned also happens way after start up. Not when I am actively using the keyboard or touchpad , bit say I leave it for t seconds it stops working and then I have to jab at random function keys to get it going again.

OK, so if you press a Function key, the keyboard comes back to life, right? But if you press any other key, that is ignored?
Sorry, I use wireless keyboards every day, and I have not run into that issue.
If this is a model that takes batteries, as opposed to those that are rechargeable, you might try changing the batteries to see if that makes any difference. It probably won't, but you never know.

No, the keyboard mentioned here is the one that comes with the device. This pc is a 2 in 1 and has a 'detachable keyboard'. Yes, it starts when a random set of keys are pressed.
I have checked and found that this isnt a hardware issue (the keyboard works fin in the bios screen). I have also reinstalled windows but still no change in the situation
