My device is HP Victus 15. I was playing games and suddenly the device turned off. When I tried to turn on the device, the power button light flashes for two to three seconds and stays on its position and nothing appears on the screen. I checked the RAM and there was no change. Is there a solution, please?

Hi @Ammarsaleh ,
Welcome to The HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
I understand you are facing an issue with your HP Victus 15 might be experiencing a hardware-related issue, possibly related to the power supply or motherboard. Since you’ve already checked the RAM and didn't notice any changes, there are a few more troubleshooting steps you can try
1. Perform a Hard Reset:
- Disconnect any external devices (USB drives, mouse, etc.).
- Unplug the power cable and remove the battery (if possible).
- Press and hold the power button for 15-20 seconds to discharge residual power.
- Reconnect the power cable and attempt to turn the laptop on again.
2. Check the Power Source and Charger:
- Ensure that the power outlet and charger are working properly. Try using a different outlet or charger if available.
- Check if the charging light on your laptop is on when connected to power.
3. Check for Battery Issues:
- If the battery is removable, try turning on the laptop without the battery and using the charger only.
- If the battery is built-in, check if the power light on the charger or laptop shows any unusual blinking patterns, as these might indicate battery failure.
4. Perform a BIOS Recovery:
- With the laptop off, press and hold the Windows + B keys, then press the Power button.
- Continue holding the keys for 3-5 seconds, then release. This will attempt to start the BIOS recovery if your laptop detects a BIOS issue.
5. Check for Overheating:
- Overheating can cause a sudden shutdown. If your laptop was hot during gaming, leave it to cool down for a while before attempting to power it back on.
6. Test with an External Monitor:
- If the laptop seems to be turning on (e.g., power lights are on but no display), connect it to an external monitor to check if the issue is with the display.

I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
