So when I bought this computer it worked out fine. But now when I try to click on the DvD RW Drive(which is on the left column in the picture below) button it pops up a tab saying "Please insert disc into drive"(which is the second picture below)
and also when i right click on it, it only shows me stuff that isn't important.
And whenever it pops up this tab it spits out the DVD
I have tried troubleshooting it and then restarting my PC
And I have tried uninstalling it from my Device Manager.
Please help me.It dosen't allow me to run any disc of any kind.
PLEASE HELP!!!

Thank you for posting on the HP Support Community.
I have a few troubleshooting steps we could try to fix the issue:
- Step 1: Confirm if the disc is causing the issue. ...
- Step 2: Run the Hardware and Devices troubleshooter. ...
- Step 3: Test the drive for a hardware failure. ...
- Step 4: Check the drive status in Device Manager. ...
- Step 5: Enable AutoPlay. ...
- Step 6: Restore the PC to an earlier state.
Please follow the document in order to perform the above troubleshooting steps: https://support.hp.com/in-en/document/c03280768
Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.

I tried to perform the test on the optical drive from the startup menu but it does not recognize that it is a drive, however the computer recognizes that it is a drive. But when I insert a disc It does not recognize that there is a disc in there. So I cannot test the drive for hardware failure due to it not recognizing the optical media. And I have also checked its status on the device manager and it says that it's working properly, And I did your autoplay step and it didn't work, And I have already mentioned on my post that its not the disc, and that I have already ran troubleshooter. So unless you have any other suggestions than we may have to enable a factory reset. If there are any other suggestions, please do tell.
