Don't complain, I bought a model without illuminated keyboard, I don't know which one you see that claims to have it, if it is the manual it is generic and that is because in the series of that model there is illuminated keyboard. Did you verify with the seller that laptop an illuminated keyboard?
The F4 key is generally for the screen brightness.
if the laptop does not have the type key, it has no illumination.
