OMEN 16.1 inch Gaming Laptop PC 16-b0000 (2W6B1AV)

So in february this year my notebook was sent to HP for a disk replacement since it suddenly wouldn`t boot up and I received it in april having 8 days of warranty left. Then about a a week later it started showing high CPU and GPU temperatures, the fans were going even when no tasks were opened and games would run at 10-15 fps if running at all. I did not alter any game settings and I do not notice the chassis getting warm. Whenever I close a game the temperature inmediately drops from 90-99ºC to 40ºC, which is the normal temperature. Could it be bad thermal paste placement? If so, even though I currently have no warranty the service was done while it was still active. I updated every single driver from Windows and Nvidia. What can I do?
