My hard drive failed, and I need a new Hard drive. Which would be the spec i should get. possibly a SSD.

Hi:

 

You have two options:

 

1. Replace the failed 1 TB 2.5" mechanical hard drive with a 2.5" SATA SSD such as the Western Digital Blue SA510 2.5" drive.

 

2. Your notebook has a M.2 NVMe SSD slot which supports the faster running NVMe SSD's, such as the Samsung 980 PCie 3.0 NVMe SSD.

 

See the service manual on your notebook's user guides page for the hard drive removal and replacement procedure.
