Hello everyone
When I got back from my school my laptop does not start.
I tried looking at other articles and tried the ways it said but it did not do anything
My laptop start in the mourning and isn”t working right now.

I understand that you are facing issues with the unit not starting.
To be able to answer you effectively, we need some information.
May I have the exact product name and number? Refer to this document for steps to find the product details. Do not share any of your personal information such as serial, phone number, email ID, etc.
Meanwhile, perform the steps below.
POWER DRAIN:
Please disconnect all the devices and cables connected to your computer including the power cable and then press and hold the power button for about 20 seconds and connect the power cable back again and try to power on the computer.
CBR:
Press windows key and then followed by the key "B" this time and then the power button for around 3-4 seconds, then release the power button and continue to hold windows+B for 3-4 seconds more.
CMOS RESET:
Press windows key and then followed by the key "V" and then the power button for around 3-4 seconds, then release the power button and continue to hold windows+V for 3-4 seconds, you may not receive a response from the computer, Please let me know what happens.

Hi, would the age of the laptop make this mistake? The HP laptop was like 5-8 years old and I didn't want to buy a new laptop as I did not have the money for it. If the laptop's age was the case then I would have to buy a new one but I will hear from your opinion.

Yes, there is a possibility as this PC is old, could cause this issue. However, I recommend you contact phone support and see what options they can offer.
