Hi! @yashrajt1818,

Have you tried charging the laptop using a different adapter or battery?

Does the laptop shut down while you are at the BIOS page?

Did you replace the battery with an HP genuine part?

Have you tried checking with an external keyboard? Does the issue persist?

Please share the product number of the PC to assist you better.

Try updating the BIOS and chipset drivers on the PC to the latest version and check if it helps.

You can try updating drivers on the PC using HP support assistant.

Try restoring the BIOS to default and check if it helps.

4.    Press F10 to Save and Exit.
5.    Use the arrow keys to select Yes, then press Enter when asked Exit Saving Changes?
6.    Follow the prompts to restart your computer.

Disable Fast Startup

Right-click Start and open Power Options.
In Power Options settings click on Choose what the powers buttons do option in the left panel.

Hi! @yashrajt1818,

Thanks for writing back to us.

Did you try running a system diagnostics test?

Since you are using a Dell adapter on an HP notebook that could be the cause the laptop is randomly shutting down.

Wattage alone is insufficient to tell if the power is right for the particular device.

The VOLTAGE has to match. There are no, ifs or exceptions to it, It has to match.

Also, try running an AC adapter and battery test from the component test under the system diagnostics page.

Hope to hear from you soon!

Take Care!
