Product: HP Pavilion Aero 13 Laptop PC 13-be1000 (502Q5AV)

Whenever I press the shift key on my laptops keyboard, random letters pop up. Example: MZC<XV ?> 

I have tried resetting my keyboard's drivers but nothing changed. The finger print scanner also does not work. Any suggestions on what I could do to fix this would be much appreciated.
