Good morning everyone.
I noticed my laptop charging indicator was blinking some weeks ago while on charge, that was quite unusual. I removed it and placed it back and the blinking stopped.
I put it in later in the day and used for more than an hour, it went off suddenly at 60% without even shutting down. This trend continued and I was advised to drain the battery and charge it up again.
I did that and got a notice from hp that my battery is faulty or so. Presently the battery doesn't charge anymore it is just stagnant, the charging indicator light is still blinking and when I unplug the charger it goes off immediately 😪😪😪😪.
Two weeks before this the battery was fine and dandy lasting up to 4 hours.
Please help.

Batteries do this. Can you perhaps run a diagnostic on the battery?

Post the advanced results here and we can see how old the battery is and the health of each cell. If the battery is more than 2 years old odds are you need a new one.
