14-ce0502sa
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello.

HPs website states that the laptop model 14-ce0502sa

14-ce0502sa  has 8gb of RAM. I have 4GB.

HP Say: 1920-1080p display. I have only 720p can't go higher without an external monitor.

I do have the right CPU which is one pro i guess.

But also, the system infoirmation shows my model is 14-ce0xxx

THis can't be right can it? My laptop is definitely the

14-ce0502sa it says so on the bottom of the laptop and a serial number lookup on HPs website confirms it too!

Very strange and I am very concerned that I have half the RAM advertised and much lower screen resolution.

why ? I don't know. Are you sure you bought the right model/product ? If yes, please ASK the point where you bought your machine.

@banhien

Thank you for your response.

That exactly model number is engraved onto the laptop along with a serial number. The serial number is present in the system information and hp smart application on the PC.

The retailer does not know I've already contacted them, they've tested other machines of the same models and see different specs to the one I have.

I've raised support with HP and consider this to be quite serious. However it seems almost impossible to speak to a human about it despite having just paid for a warranty.

I was hoping these were issues with the machine that could be resolved because by all other accounts the spec matches. Same cpu and same ssd etc.

Thanks
