My laptop has some problem about overheating.
Specs:
- HP Spectre X360-15t-DF100 CTO (late 2019)
- I7-9750H/16GB/GTX1650
- Windows 10 Home 64-bit Version: 19043.1202 (21H1)
- Bios version: F.26
I have used my laptop for 1 year. My laptop has just changed the thermal grease before. I realize some problem, specially overheating. Normally, the laptop is very good at radiator. When fans on, the temperature will be quickly reduced. But in some cases, the two fans were not run correctly. When I do some light tasks with low CPU clock, fans aren’t spin and it still not spin until I do some heavy tasks like play game or render pictures by Lightroom (some tasks need many % Utilization) or when I reset the laptop, the fans will run again. Although the temperature is up to 100 degrees (CPU Sensor) and my finger want to burn when I touch on the top of keyboard position (near CPU). Its very very hot, I have never imagined before that a laptop can be survive with this heat. I have updated all driver and latest bios, use most of HP diagnostic tools, HP command center always in Performance mode, but it still happened in sometimes. This overheating can be happen when Laptop is plugged in charge or not (But as far as I can see, when the charger is not plugged in, the probability is higher). I think there are some problems about cooling and fan function control algorithm on bios or some programs, I don’t know. Im so worry, I think it is a big and serious software error, or bug,..Can you consider this problem. Thanks for reading. Hope to hear from you soon.
