My laptop (HP 15.6 Ryzen 3 4GB 1TB FHD) is unusable, it constantly is in a frozen zone with memory/disk showing at in excess of 90% with only one web browser open. You cannot use any programs (0ffice) or browse web pages as it freezes. It has a constant whine noise emitting from it. It has only Office programs installed. It is just over a year old and has never worked properly but due to lockdown and incorrect advice given the shop will now not allow it to be returned. I feel like I have paid for £300 for a brick 😞

I got the db1100ny, which by default is also 4GB with a 1TB HDD. Only difference is mine has the 3500u.

 

Anyway, you can fix your laptop by buying one 8GB stick of DDR4 2666 CL19 RAM and an NVMe SSD(to boot Windows from). Your RAM and HDD are always at 90%, because you actually only have 3.5GB(Vega graphics 'steals' 512MB for itself) and booting Windows from a hard drive is also going to cause a few problems. 

 

The 4GB and HDD are the reason these laptops can be so cheap and you still end up cheaper by upgrading the RAM and upgrading to a NVMe SSD, compared to other 12GB/NVMe SSD laptops
