Product: Compaq Presario Cq60
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

My laptop is an HP compaq Presario Cq60. It was working fine yesterday with everything thing working. The only change l made was to update my windows yesterday 13th January 2022 but even after the update the light where l plug the charger was still working until l shut it down.

On reaching home to connect the charger, the light failed to work. I havre tried different sockets but the light is still not working.

Am currently in need of advice

Unfamiliar with that series but there should be a bios diagnostic where you can check charger and battery condition. run that first. Post back with the results. Cq60 isn't a model number, we would need the full Model number or Product ID found on the bottom label to look up what your laptop has.

The HP service tag has this

model #:CQ60-210US

and this  as p/n NB275UA#ABA. Hope l have provided the required information.
