My laptop says that i have 200 gb of total space, but thats impossible right? its not possible. the closest possible one in 240 something.... mine is supposed to be 500 gb but its showing that its 200 for some reason.

i rebooted my computer like 3 times so thats really not the prblem. i gave worten, its kinda like the biggest electrical market with everything here at portugal, and also thats the place i bought it form, they kinda fixed it!!now i get the total space of 476gb!! so thanks for the helps!!

If the internal drive is a 500GB drive, that is the total capacity of the entire drive.  That drive is then segmented into individual partitions.  So what you might be looking at is the size of the Windows partition, which is likely to be only 200GB (or less). In addition, there would most of the remaining space allocated to a "data" partition.

 

So, where are you getting this size information?

No, but thank you! You know... Like it i was downloading a big file and the space was changing live. So l had like 10 gb left when the space run out.

If you have two partitions on the drive, a Windows partition and a (much larger) data partition, by default, the browsers download to a folder on the Windows partition.  And if you have not done regular clean ups on this partition, it could be nearly full at any one time.

 

So, check the destination of your downloads and if they are going to your Windows drive, change the destination to the larger data drive -- that way, you won't be running out of space.
