My laptop says "HP Battery Alert. The system has detected the storage capacity stated below to be very low. For optimal performance, this battery may need to be replaced. Primary (internal) Battery (601)".
My laptop does not charge, even though the adapter plug is plugged in. It says "plugged in, not charging".
What at do I do? Do I need to buy a new battery and where please?

I have used the HP Diagnostics tool to check the battery and it needs a new battery. I have located the proper battery parts no as 796356-005 for a HP Pavilion x 360 15-bk152nr using the hp parts locator . However, when I use the HP Parts locator it says the battery is no longer made.
So now what do I do? Where can I get a battery????? I tried amazon but it does not have one.

Hi @cgm2
How old is your device ? Does it have an active warranty or carepack ?
