Product: Pavilion x360

Hello, 

 

I have an eighteen month old Pavilion x360 convertible 14-cd1xxx

 

I opened it today to do some work and heard a cracking sound. I noticed, it now has a crack on the bottom right hand corner leading up to the center of the screen. I understand this is a common problem with this particular machine. It is out of warranty but I am hoping HP will help repair or advise on repair for this machine as I treat it as well as my previous HP which is now thirteen years old. 

 

Any advice on what to do or where to take it and if HP will take responsibility for this fault?
