Before I explain please know I know nothing about laptops or screens or anything tech related sooo

So I’m not sure when my screen has been like this but it has definitely been like this for 6+ months, So basically my screen looks grainy? Like the actual screen not the computer itself but the actual screen, It looks like there’s grain on the screen that doesn’t move and it just stays there and even if I try to wipe it off it doesn’t come off so I assume my screen is damaged? But the thing is my dad took the screen to a repair shop or something 1 week ago and I got it back and it looks no different at all, They said they replaced the “LCD”? I have no idea what that is sorry, is my screen meant to look grainy like this? It feels like the coating is grainy I’m not sure...

please help it’s really frustrating and I have had to put up with it for watching movies even tho it rly bothers me
