I have an HP Spectre x360 15-df1033dx that I bought Nov 2019 for about $2000. Two days ago, I was working on it, lightly bumped the side, and it just stopped working (no water damage at all, and I have a protector for the keyboard to help with dust). I pressed the power button, I plugged it into multiple other chargers, and it didn't work. Then I took it to Best Buy, and they plugged it in, and just the keyboard backlight kept flashing (no particular pattern). Depending on the time, it was either fast or slow flashes.
I then unplugged the battery for a couple hours, plugged it back in, and now it won't do anything. It's completely dead. I took it to a uBreakIFix, and he didn't even look at it. He just said the motherboard is bad, needs to be replaced, and I might as well get a new laptop. He said it might be the charging ports, but there's no guarantee and it cost $200/port to sauder. Mind you, it was at 50% battery when it just died. No charging light when plugged in. There are 3 charging ports (two thunderbolt and one main one (A/C?)), and none of them turn on when charging.
I don't know what to do, and I love this laptop. I bought it November 2019. Can anyone give me a potential "fix-for-dummies" to help? Does the fact that the keyboard was flashing and now it's not give any indication of what's wrong with it? It was perfectly fine, then one little bump and this... And when I say little, I mean... LITTLE. Like the same amount of force you would put a key in the ignition of your car.

Without physical access to the laptop, no one can recommend any quick fix.
A light bump is very unlikely to damage a motherboard, while dropping the laptop will nearly always break it. But there is an LED on the back or side that lights up showing the motherboard is getting power. If that is out, then the motherboard could be bad, but if that is lit, then it is unlikely.
The other thing a bump will do is trash a hard drive -- and that can cause Windows to crash and will prevent the laptop from rebooting into Windows, but that will not prevent it powering on and trying to boot.
If there is a display and the laptop tries to start, then it is likely a drive issue, not motherboard.
You did what I would have suggested -- take it into repair shops to have them look at it. But you're getting different answers and while that is frustrating, it's not surprising.
Sorry, but there is nothing we can really do for you from here -- as any money you spend to fix the laptop risks being wasted if that does not actually fix the underlying issue.
