Purchased new on Amazon.  It's listed as up to 4.6GHz processor speed but running Belarc Advisor, it shows me the processor is 2.5GHz.  Is there a way to run it at 4.6GHz, or is that done automatically depending on the task it is performing?

I tried getting the specs of it as shipped in my product dashboard, but I get a "page can't be found" error.  Does it just take time for the info to get there?

No you can NOT, that is a feature from Intel processors ( It's listed as up to 4.6GHz does NOT mean it will run at that speed all times)

It will go up to max speed when required, it won't stay all the times because it would fry itself to dead. Your machine has many options
