Product: HP Pavillion 17
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

I have a HP laptop Pavillion 17 and it won't recognize my phone when connected by USB cable.  I'd like to be able to download music from Media Player but can't.

Doesn't help when you don't even bother to tell us what model phone you have ...

 

But this problem is due to the PC not having the proper drivers to see the phone.

 

Since HP does not supply cellphone drivers, you will have to check with the support forum for the manufacturer of the phone to get the Windows  drivers needed.
