Hi @MGgamer69,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

Here are some troubleshooting steps you can follow to help get your HP Pavilion 14 Laptop PC back on.

Perform a Hard Reset:

  • Disconnect the power adapter and remove the battery (if removable).
  • Press and hold the power button for about 15-20 seconds to discharge any residual power.
  • Reinsert the battery (if removed) and reconnect the power adapter.
  • Try to turn on the laptop.

Check the Power Adapter:

  • Ensure the power adapter is working properly. Check for any visible damage to the cable or connector.
  • If possible, test the adapter with another compatible HP laptop or try using a different adapter on your laptop.

Inspect the Charging Port:

  • Look for any debris or damage in the laptop’s charging port that could prevent a proper connection.

Try a Different Power Outlet:

  • Sometimes the outlet may not be functioning correctly. Try plugging the adapter into a different outlet.

Check for LED Indicators:

  • Look for any LED lights on the laptop when you try to power it on. If there are no lights, the laptop might not be receiving power.

Perform a Battery Reset:

  • If your laptop has a non-removable battery, hold down the power button for about 15 seconds without connecting the adapter. Then connect the adapter and try turning it on.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
