My laptop processor is locked at this base clock speed even after I did a lot of tweaking on the battery power plans and using ThrottleStop and it's still not working. I did a live chat with the whatsapp representative and they gave me a stupid reply such as they cannot help because they are HP (I wonder why he's still not fired), called the regional support and they are slow and inefficient when it comes to providing me a resolution....

Hi,
The base speed of your CPU is 1GHz
Intel® Core™ i5-1035G1 (1.0 GHz base frequency, up to 3.6 GHz with Intel® Turbo Boost Technology, 6 MB cache, 4 cores)
So only when needed will it boost continuously to a higher speed. This is automatic.
Try using software such as AIDA64 Extreme where you can stress test the CPU and see the higher speed. You can also leave task manager open and open some APPS to see the CPU clock rise and fall.
Hope it helps,
David

Come on, I ran so many programs and softwares but none of them made the processor run any higher than 1.19GHZ I spent few days testing it out, that's definitely not the problem. I think the BIOS or motherboard locked the processor clockspeed.
