my touch pad suddenly stopped working, i've updated everything windows, software, bios, drivers but it doesn't work.
- when i update the driver of the mouse , the synaptics dialogue shows "device update"
-.But when i restart the mouse still doesn't work
-but after restart when I open BIOS I can move the mouse over there and I can also pass the mouse/touchpad diagnostics test.
- when i continue the boot , the mouse still not responsive.
-but this time when restart and go to bios, now the mouse also becomes unresposnsive over there!!
-I repeated this many times & it goe slike this only, never workds in windows{tried with ubuntu too, it doesn;t work}.......works in bios.........then stops working altogether.
Note: even when i'm not able to move mose in windows it's buttons do respond.
I've tried enablind disabling mouse, deleting uninstalling teh mouse & reinstalling, hard reset.
This is not getting resolved, i have to resort to use external mouse.(which is working everywhere).
This problem appeared 2 days ago.
Context: I got my mouse touchpad replaced 2-3 weeks ago. but it's been working smoothly since then till 2-3 days back.
please help, what can i do to resolve this?
