X3000 G3 Wireless Mouse
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My wireless mouse is not responding. I have tried virtual assistant support and have downloaded a possibly missing driver from HP's list, but I am still having trouble.

None of these seem to work. Should I send this mouse back for repairs? It's brand new unfortunately. 😞

Update: I went ahead and returned it as defective, and will order the HP 430 instead. Thank you for your advice. 👍

    • Ensure that the mouse has fresh batteries or is charged if it's a rechargeable wireless mouse.
    • Make sure the power switch on the mouse is in the "On" position.
    • Verify that the USB receiver or Bluetooth connection is securely plugged into your computer.
  1. Restart Your Computer:

    • Sometimes, a simple computer restart can resolve connectivity issues.
  2. Test the Mouse on Another Computer:

    • Connect the wireless mouse to another computer to see if it works. This will help determine if the issue is with the mouse itself or your computer.
