HP ZBook Firefly 16 inch G10 Mobile Workstation PC (740J1AV)
Microsoft Windows 11

I am dealing with the already reported problem that my HP FireFly 16" G10 Workstation Notebook PC's BIOS does not have the option  to enable an added-upgrade HP NFC board and related parts, according to the manual's instructions, due to the HP's recent implemented feature-byte restriction policy.

I appeal HP to change this policy, taking in attention the following customers needs:

- It is very difficult to find a notebook with the specific  hardware configuration we need.

- If a minor HP genuine part (in this case an NFC module) is added to the computer, following your manual's directions, being compatible with the motherboard, there is no reason to block it by the BIOS.

- There are a lot of users that always chosen HP over other manufacturers because of the possibility that we had in upgrading the hardware accordingly with our needs.

If this feature-byte restriction policy is to maintain, I will choose another brand for my next notebook purchase.

Please, let me continue being an HP loyal customer.

Regards.
