Hi. It has been five months since I bought this laptop and starting from the first day, it has been giving me a specific blue screen error which is NMI_HARDWARE_FAILURE. I made some research and when that led me nowhere, I contacted HP Customer Service. They made me format my laptop and downgrade my OS from Windows 10 Pro to Home but nothing changed. With trial and error, I've managed to figure out on my own that the blue screen problem does not exist in "High performance" power plan, so I've been using my laptop in this power plan for months. However, it gets hot very quickly even in idle use and I think this power plan has been tiring my computer. I cannot switch to "balanced" or "power safe" plans because the blue screen problem comes back whenever I do it. Could you please help me? I'm working from home so I don't want to send my laptop in for repair. 😕
