HP Omen AX250TX
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I bought Brand New HP Omen AX250TX 15.6 Inch Laptop two days back. It looks so good in design. But I noticed that when I turn ON/OFF Num Lock, it does not show any LED indicator, but the CAPS Lock does has LED indicator.

Is this Model/Brand comes with no LED indicator for NUM Lock??!

Hi @Omen_user,

Thanks for stopping by the HP community. A very good day to you. 🙂 I reviewed the post regarding the HP Omen Num lock key not being lit.  I will be delighted to assist you here. 🙂

Superb description and stupendous diagnosis of the issue before posting. Kudos to you for that. 🙂

For better clarity and to assist you better I would require more information regarding this:

  • Did you check the keyboard layout in the Omen service manual?

For now, try these steps:

Please check the HP Omen service manual for this model from here http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c05357609 you will find that the Num Lock key is integrated and does not have a LED that glows. Please refer pages to pages 15 to 17 of this manual. The computer is built that way. The Numeric key on this Omen is not designed to glow.

Hope this helps. Let me know how it goes. To simply say thanks, please click the "Thumbs Up" button to give me a Kudos to appreciate my efforts to help. If this helps, please mark this as Accepted Solution as it will help several others with the same issue to get it resolved without hassles.

Take care and have a blessed week ahead. 🙂

Cheers!
