I have an HP Gaming 15-fa0000 laptop that has the NVME PCIe 4.0 x4 SSD MZVL2512HCJQ-00BH1 which is written below the specifications on the Samsung website. See the images. Is it possible to improve this performance? MZVL2512HCJQ-00$00/07 512GB | SSD | Samsung Semiconductor Global

@janjos, Welcome to HP Support Community,

Thank you for posting your query; I’m here to help by guiding you through steps to resolve this issue

To improve your SSD performance:

Ensure PCIe 4.0 is enabled in your BIOS if your laptop supports it.

Update the SSD firmware using Samsung Magician software.

Check your SSD temperature to avoid thermal throttling; improve cooling if necessary.

Free up space on your SSD (try to keep it under 75% full).

Update your drivers (chipset and storage) and ensure Windows is up to date.

I hope this helps.

Please feel free to reply here if you have any questions or if you need further clarification on any of the steps.

Take care and have a good day.
