Hi,

Have 15-Cs0053cl. planning to upgrade to nvme 1 TB.  Will "Samsung 990 EVO SSD 1TB" be compatible with this pc?

Very short answer is NOT. BUT you still can install it which is backward compatible. Your machine won't run at  Samsung 990 EVO SSD speed, it will run at a slower speed.

As mentioned above, you can use Samsung 970 or 980 or 990 it will run at maximum speed of the CONTROLLER (not drive).
