Hi all,
My machine is HP Notebook 15q-ds-0009tu. I want to upgrade may storage typical 1TB HDD to ssd. in manual mentioned M.2 slot. is this slot is capable to install NVMe ssd?

Hi Najeeb,
Yes, the M2 slot supports M2 PCIe NVMe SSD such as the Samsung 970 Evo Plus or similar. You can get of your desired capacity (no limit). It will give an amazing performance boost to the everyday performance of the notebook. You will need to reinstall or move the OS to the SSD for the performance boost.
On page 47 of the service manual, you can see the steps to install the SSD.
