My son's laptop has a native 128GB HDD but only shows a maximum capacity of around 58GB. I have made no upgrades to the hardware. Everywhere inside of Windows says 58.3. Device manager, disk manager, even the thing where I spammed F2 during reboot.
- I've done a clean install/reset of windows
- Everything updateable is updated
- I've opened the laptop and visually saw the 128gb HDD card thingy
- I've tried reformatting through DISKPART commands but it won't format my main C drive
- Tried following this advice: Solved: Hard Drive Shows Wrong Capacity[2022] (wondershare.com)
Help!!!
