HP Notebook - 17-by1955cl
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Yesterday we were using our video camera in Zoom and everything was working find. Today it's not working (only in Zoom) and when I look in the Device Manager there isn't a camera listed under Imaging Devices. How can I get a driver for it?

Thank you!

I've already been through these...in Device Manager the camera is not listed under "Imaging Devices." I cannot use Microsoft System Restore because I've already done that and it only gives me the option to go back to earlier this morning, when I the video wasn't working in Zoom.

Also, when I look for a driver in HP under my computer there isn't even one listed for me to get a driver update.

Is it just in Zoom? How about other apps like Skype or Messenger Videocall? If only in Zoom, try reinstalling the Zoom app.

Yes, it's just in Zoom. I checked by opening the camera in the lap top and it works fine, same in Skype. Also tried reinstalling Zoom several times. I also don't know why the camera is not showing up in the Device Manager, either.

By needing "service" do you meaning the laptop is broken?

So, something else I discovered...the HD Truvision Webcam IS listed in the Device Manager under "Cameras," it's just not listed under "Imaging Devices." Any idea how to fix this? Wonder if that's the problem. Thank you!

Since your camera is working with other apps, the problem is not the camera itself.
