Hello everyone,
I have an HP EliteBook x360 1030 G3 with the following specifications: i7, 16GB RAM, 1TB SSD, 13.3" touchscreen. I would like to add an LTE card to the internal compartment of the notebook. I already have an LTE card, but the notebook doesn’t have a SIM card reader slot!
I’m looking for solutions to integrate LTE connectivity. Is it possible to install a module for a SIM card in the existing slot, or is there an LTE card model compatible with eSIM that I could use? For reference, I am with Swisscom (CH).
Thank you in advance for your valuable help!

Thank you for your response! I think I may have been unclear. The SIM card slot is indeed empty, so I'm not sure if there is a replacement part available for this specific slot or if I should switch to an LTE eSIM module.
Is there an eSIM module compatible with this EliteBook model?
Thanks again for your help.

Thank you for your response. I have installed the LTE module, and it is correctly recognized by my notebook. However, it still asks me to insert a SIM card. When I try to insert it, it feels like the SIM slot is empty or non-functional. Should I add a SIM card reader for this to work, or is there another solution? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
This keeps the message clear and asks for further assistance.

The manual on page 2 indicates that there is the slot, now I don't know why it doesn't work with a nano SIM.
