hp probook

I being trying to find an answer for this topic.

recently, i noticed hp probook itself have different series number 200, 400 and 600

i would like to know the main differences and which one is preferred for what usage.

Im looking for old series in 8th gen so which one is prefer to buy 450 g5 or 650g5?

my requirement is longer batter backup, the lastest nvme support, and possible dual or triple storage.

it will be used by a student, so u can be sure  it will be used for some  gaming, some rendering, school work n project, and other stuff.

so guide me properly plz

or is going for 840 g5 or 850 g5 (if it is available) better than probook?

spec:

i5-8th gen (can be 8250u or 8350u, random)

8gb single stick (upgrade later on)

256 nvme ( not sure the seller giving m.2 single or duo cut)

FHD and so on.

no GPU.

budget don't allow it

@umarazmat

HP has many different series for Probook notebooks and Elitebook notebooks. Each series has MANY different machines with many different generations/options/configurations/combinations.

Some more information

             https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/HP_ProBook

             https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/HP_EliteBook    (not complete)

Same specs, an Elitebook machine is better built the a Probook machine (better material .....).

Your question: or is going for 840 g5 or 850 g5 (if it is available) better than probook?  Yes, Eltebook is much better. G5 is more than 4 years old by now, you can buy g8 g9 or g10 (?) now. (note 4 is for 14" machines and 5 is for 15" machines.

Regards.

i saw the wiki but it did not had the answers that i required.

1. what are the differences in the series of hp probook, mainly the comparison of 200 series, vs 400 vs 600 series.

eg 250 g5 vs 450 g5 vs 650 g5.

i need to know the main differences. compare to build, battery, display, storage, ram etc.

2. The reason for not going for the latest version is the price, and if i can afford the lastest one then it is lacking the features that i want to. so that the reason is to look at refurbished imported used laptops that wholesalers import from different countries.

3. then they go for Probook or elite book. i do know the elite book have a nice design, no dual storage, maybe 1-2 port more and 1-2 port reduce compared to the Probook. i need durability, battery backup, display, and storage. i will have ram max to 16 gb, as without GPU i don't think it will matter.
