Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have a HP envy 17 n107 ur laptop. Which has Hp 80EE motherboard. Now my question is how do i know will my motherboard support M.2 SATA SSD OR M.2 NVME SSD. how can i find out which one will support my board before buying. Thanks

So, yes it will fit. Those are the kind of slots used on nearly all notebooks.

Hi,

It supports only M2 SATA3 SSD such as the M2 Samsung 860 Evo or similar of your desired capacity.

See page 2 of the service manual.

Thanks for your reply. I looked at the Samsung ssd you mention but it has 2 notch while my motherboard has only 1 notch to connect. How will it fit in?

Just fine. The slot is M.2 and can accept either a B or B + M keyed disk. Two prongs fit into the wide part of the slot and one fits in the small side. If you compare a B and B + M device you will see the insertion edge is the same width.
