HP Pavilion 15.6 inch Gaming Laptop PC 15-ec2000 (2P6B3AV)
Microsoft Windows 11

I have a HP Pavilion Gaming Laptop 15-EC2049NE. I bought this machine last year. It's battery is not good. Even when I bought the laptop, the battery would drain quite fast.

I want to replace the battery now as it doesn't even pass 30 mins without charge. I don't like the battery that came with it. I genuinely think that the battery is quite small for this kind of laptop.

I need a different model battery with more cells (current one comes with only 3 cells) that is heavy and can fit into my laptop easily. I just don't want to buy the same battery that came with it. If there is an option to put two batteries, I would go with that too.

Can anyone tell if a different battery, or an additional battery can fit without creating any problems?

Hi @MustafaFaisal ,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

I'd like to help!

I understand that you need a battery. But the support here is limited to software troubleshooting. However, since the unit might need repair, I would request you to contact HP Phone support who would have an option to schedule a repair as per the warranty and the issue can be fixed.
