Can't seem to find a replacement cooling fan for hp laptop model 15-dy2177nr.

From the information I could find, your PC's product number is 681L1UA.

 

Below is the link to the parts list for that product number:

 

HP PartSurfer

 

The fan part number and description is:

 

L63588-001
FAN FOR NON-BL KB

 

HP sells the fan you need, but it is very expensive at $74.43

 

The HP Parts Store - HP Computer Parts - HP Printer Parts - HP parts - hp batteries - SSD - printhea...

 

You may want to do a search on eBay by the HP part number and see if you can get a fan for less $$$.
