Need a new battery buy which one?

Hello HP friends and family.

My Omen is a wonderful machine and runs great but the battery just recently died out and does not hold a charge. My Omen model is older probably 2016-2017. I was wondering if anyone knows what kind of battery I can buy for this model. I plan on getting a new Omen laptop, just not now and I need a laptop for school. Any suggestions?

@kwebs10 you may order the replacement parts on the HP Parts Store, If you've already looked for it and couldn't find it on the HP Parts Store, you may want to get it locally at the online store such as Amazon or eBay, etc...as the part numbers are universal.

or, If you have an HP authorized service center near by, you should be able to take it to them and have it checked,

@Riddle_Decipher thanks for the info! I have tried looking on the parts page for my model Omen. But I couldn't find the part number or the part. Any key words I should look out for on the list of parts for my model?
