Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

The battery on my Spectre has died.  It won't hold a charge and in fact, the battery is slightly bubbled.

I attempted to get a non-HP battery replacement, but the laptop identified it as "non-HP".  Because of that it would always boot with a warning message that you had to physically move past. Once in Windows, it wouldn't recognize the battery was even there.  Had to send it back.

 

I've tried to get an official HP battery replacement, but their HP website can't find it.  Looking for any help.

The battery is SP04XL Recharchage Li-ion Battery.  Indicates to replace with HP Spare L28764-005

(Original HP Part number L28538-1C1)     15.4V-61.4Wh

HP likely no longer has it in its stores. Here is an original genuine HP on eBay from seller who ships to Canada:
