Product: HP Spectre x360 - 15-df0033dx
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11

Need a replacement SU06XL battery for my HP Spectre.  Laptop doesn't like the battery I bought on Amazon.  Part number on original battery is L29048-271.  This part # does not show up on the HP parts page. How do I find a battery my laptop will accept?

Interesting: looks like purchasing an SU06XL battery is sometimes a hit or miss -more so than most other laptop batteries as far as I can ascertain, no matter which brand you buy.

 

Btw, Amazon customers noted the following issue multiple times with this battery:

If I was in your shoes, so to speak, I would try this one: Amazon.com: ZTHY SU06XL Battery Replacement for HP Spectre X360 15-DF 15T-DF 15-DF0XXX 15-DF1XXX 15T....  Another advantage is that Amazon is (generally) very easy to work with (refunding) if something goes wrong with laptop batteries.
