There is a plastic bar that covers the hinges and connects to the screen on my HP laptop. It's connectors are broken and it keeps falling off. The part number is #A-2FF. I tried to order new parts but my laptop's serial # isn't recognized by HP nor can I find a customer support email to order the part.  Here are photos of the part and the laptop respectively:
