Welcome to HP Community

I have gone through your Post and would like to help

As long as the Battery fits inside the Notebook and it's for the same Model, there shouldn't be any issues. The difference in Voltage shouldn't be a major concern

But HP Cannot guarantee the functionality and performance of those Batteries

But as per the Service Guide: http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c05963248. the Notebook is compatible with the following batteries

Thank you

The specs of your machine is

          https://support.hp.com/au-en/document/c05825222

Did you buy it from The US ? It uses  3-cell, 31 Wh Li-ion part #  919700-850 as shown on the following link

           https://partsurfer.hp.com/Search.aspx?searchText=2PE35UA

You can buy from HP (above link) or use part # to buy elsewhere. For example

          https://www.newegg.com/p/16J-0010-03XG9

Regards.

@Banhein

Thanks very much.

The other most important part of my query is that whether 14.8 V be compatible with my laptop which is currently equipped with 10.95V battery. I couldn't find answer  to this in my week's research. On some websites its clearly mentioned both voltages are not compatible with each other.

Also the newegg website link you shared, that battery is too 14.8V.

Very thanks for the details.
So according to you if the battery fits in the laptop there should not be an issue of voltage compatibility. But won't internal circuits of my laptop be designed for 10.95V and might be exploited if I used higher voltage battery of 14.8V. Kindly explain this and I would approve as a solution for this question.

Thanks in advance.

The Motherboard is more than capable of handling 14.8 V.  One small drawback might be that the battery will take slightly longer to get charged since the AC Adapter was not designed for that battery
