Fan started making noises. If I hit the computer where the fan is, the noise stops. Tech support stage 1 complete. However, the noise comes back. I just need to know what fan I should replace it with? or if you think it would resolve the issue if I took the laptop apart, unhooked and cleaned the existing fan. But for the very small cost of a new fan, I feel like it's probably worth just replacing it.
Super grateful for anyone's help with this. Because the warranty is up, HP is not helpful at all.

Hi:
Below is the link to the service manual for your notebook.
Chapter 3, page 16, item 16 lists the fan part number and description.
(16) Fan (includes cable) 806747-001
HP Parts Store - HP Computer Parts - HP Printer Parts - Compaq Parts
HP does not sell the part, so you will have to find it elsewhere.
Check eBay or Amazon. Search by the HP part number.
I recommend you open up the notebook and take a look at the fan so you can compare it with the pictures of any that you are interested in buying.
Note the number of wires and the connector in your existing fan's cable because some fans come with 3 wires and some with 4.
