HP G71 Notebook PC, battery charges to 88%, fully discharges in less than 1/2 hour. Ran system tests and test log has results for battery and AC adaptors which both cancelled out. I need guidance.

Hello @Dennis49,
Well I can clearly see that out of the 4400mAh this computer's battery originally had, only 956mAh is remaining therefore only less than 25% is actually usable.
I can definitely recommend you a battery replacement but unless you're in a hurry, I'll provide you with the details later today because I'm currently typing on mobile.
Furthermore, a specific model/product number would be appreciated. (se do not post serial numbers on the HP Support Forum)
Information on how to find a laptop's model/product number is detailed in this HP document.
