Product: HP Pavilion x360 - 14-cd0003ne

Hello 

 

I own the HP Pavilion x360 - 14-cd0003ne and ever since my battery became old I had replaced it with this battery a a year or two ago: XITAIAN 11.55V 41.7Wh 3615mAh TF03XL TF03041XL 920046-121 Replacement Laptop Battery for HP Pavilion... 

 

Can I please have the exact model type in writing for the battery? I need to look for it online because everytime I start my laptop it tells me "Non-HP Battery detected and HP recommends using HP batteries only" in a black screen where I have to press enter everytime I boot my laptop. I know the model is 3-cell, 41-WHr, 3.6-AHr, Li-ion battery 920070-856 but when I search it online I don't get it whether it be Ebay or HP stores? Do I just type in HP battery 920070-856? 

I found this but I wasn't sure if it would give me the black screen too: HP TPN-Q192 TPN-Q188 HSTNN-LB7X 920070-856 HSTNN-LB7J Genuine Battery | eBay

Try updating the BIOS to the latest version

Here is the Software & Driver download page for your laptop.

Use HP+920070-856 as the keywords in the search.

 

Make sure that you only purchase a battery that has that HP part number and a one year warranty.

Hi I have updated the BIOS but it has not fixed the problem. 

I found these two and I wasn't sure entirely if the 41WH 3 Cell 11.55V Battery | eBay had the HP part but this one does although i don't think it lists my laptop as one of the HP Pavilion options Battery for HP 920070-856 HSTNN-DB8R HSTNN-DB8S HSTNN-IB7Y HSTNN-IB80 3550mAh | eBay.

 

Here is another one I did find: BLESYS TF03XL 920070-855 920046-421 920070-856 TPN-Q188 TPN-Q190 TF03041XL HSTNN-UB7J HSTNN-LB7J HST...

 

There is also this one which I can get in grade A: Genuine Original HP 920070-855 920070-856 HSTNN-IB7Y HSTNN-LB7J Laptop Battery | eBay but it has HP 920070-855 specifically. 

 

There wasn't any warranty information included on both and these batteries are not found on the official HP website.

If you want one with a year warranty, purchase it from an online IT parts vendor, an online laptop battery vendor or on Amazon.co.uk

 

Personally, I would not purchase one without a one year warranty.
