I need to know the Maximum Ram of this Notebook, before attempting to upgrade. Some say the Max is 8gb as it comes with, while some say it's 64gb. 3200 mhz. I also want to purchase a docking station to expand the USB, and Ethernet and Extended display. So I need to know if my USB-C supports Video Transfer. Or is it just data transfer. I have 2 HP 24 inch monitors that I would love to use as extended desktop. But with only 2 USB, and 1 would prefer to use the USB-C. Is that possible for this model. I assume its not Thunderbolt. Will it work better thru the USB-A? What Docking Station would you recommend? And what kind of RAM do U suggest.

Hi @Deadlydread,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
The maximum amount of RAM that a specific HP Laptop PC 15s can support may vary depending on the model and its hardware specifications. To determine the maximum RAM capacity of your laptop, you can refer to the official HP website, the laptop's user manual.
Regarding the USB-C port, its capabilities may also vary based on the laptop model. In general, USB-C ports can support video transfer if they have the DisplayPort over USB-C feature. This allows you to connect an external display or monitor using a compatible USB-C to HDMI or USB-C to DisplayPort cable/adapter. However, not all laptops with USB-C ports support video transfer, so it's essential to check the laptop's specifications or user manual to confirm if video transfer is supported via the USB-C port on your specific HP Laptop PC 15s model.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
