I have a 2014 HP ENVY 15-u011dx x360 Laptop.

I  want to add a 512GB SDD Drive and 16GB DDR3 ram or higher...I want to know if this laptop is compatible for the upgrade(s).

Also i want to know the SDD size restrictions and if there  is a tutorial link.

Hi:

Below is the link to the service manual for your notebook.

Chapter 1 lists the supported M.2 SSD's and type, and the memory upgrade info.

SSD's have the SATA 3 interface, not NVMe and I think the memory upgrade info is slightly incorrect.

You should be able to install 2 x 8 GB of memory in your model.

The crucial memory report says so too...It also lists compatible memory and M.2 SSD's for your notebook.
