HP Recommended

Intel Core i3 3217U @ 1.80GHz how much RAM can be expanded in this system? 
also will it be DDR3 or I can go for higher like DDR4/5?

Is it really worth upgrading will I see diff.
My main work involves development mobile apps.

I can only advise you that DDR4 and DDR5 memory is not supported in your notebook.

 

The only suggestion I can offer would be to look up the memory upgrade information in chapter 1 of your notebook's service manual since you neglected to provide any information on what model notebook you have.

 

If the memory is upgradable and the notebook has two memory slots, the i3-3217U processor should support 2 x 8 GB of DDR3L-1600 memory,
