Hello,

MY HP Omen Laptop with below details is perfectly working Fine but to upgrade to Windows 11 I need to upgrade the processor.

Windows 10 Home Version 22H2
64-bit operating system, x64-based processor
Processor Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-7700HQ CPU @ 2.80GHz 2.81 GHz
Installed RAM 16.0 GB (15.9 GB usable)
System type 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor

Is there any way i can upgrade the processor. If yes, please can someone guide me which processor i should go for or how to check the compatibility of a new process with my HP Omen Laptop and also where to order the processor from.

I do not want to buy a whole new PC or install window 11 on the current PC by tricking the system.
I specifically need to change the processor only.

Thank you for your attention to the matter.

Can't be done. The processor is soldered to the motherboard and not removeable. We do not know your specific model but odds are there is not a replacement motherboard that will fit in your laptop and has a 8th gen or better Intel Core CPU which is the minimum level needed for a standard upgrade to Windows 11. You also need TPM 2.0
